truck hesitates to go into gear then slams into reverse unexpectedly with a lot of force backing up - almost ran over a family member. Same thing when cold and going from park to drive, almost drove off my driveway down a steep mountain. My panoramic sunroof exploded while driving. Sounded like we were shot at. The vehicle is currently at MINI of Des Moines. It can be inspected. USAA is sending an appraiser to the shop to assess damages. This is a known issue. However, after a 7 year federal investigation they were unable to pinpoint an exact reason why this happens and unable to put a recall on this vehicle. This recall {25TA06} has been out since May 15 2025, it's been over a year now. I have called a few times and nobody know anything when this will be completed. Rumors on line say they took care of the ones at the dealership but not the ones that customers purchased. All I need is about when this will be taken care of. Thank you

After driving my vehicle for a short period of time I stopped to go shopping. When I returned to my vehicle I started it as usual and the check engine light illuminated.
