At ~4:25 PM on [XXX], a multi-lane urban arterial, the automated driving system decelerated the vehicle without cause to ~10 mph and held that speed in the number one (leftmost) lane. My car showed charge battery and then it stalled on a busy highway. Had to charge battery and then the dash flashed D for drive and would not go into gear. Now I have no car because it seems to be the recall and there is no resolution at this time.

The contact owns a 2020 Jaguar I-Pace. The contact stated that, following the recall repair under NHTSA Campaign Number 26V067000 (Electrical System), the vehicle failed to start. The battery warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who was made aware of the post-repair failure; however, it was neither diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 77,000.

The car is on its third battery replacement, now a total of 4 new batteries. Due to a known, ongoing issue that does not have a permanent fix. Resulting in the car being in the repair shop for months. It is recommended to not park in the garage due to the chance of a fire. The battery cannot be charged more than 90% for safety issues.
