2022 CHRYSLER PACIFICA

Filed Aug 5, 2026

The captains chairs in the second row of the vehicle both had their reclining mechanism fail. This causes the seats to move forward and back sliding when the car is in motion as they will not stay locked in place. They cannot be used for transportation due to it being unsafe for the passenger as the seat does not remain upright. The seat is available for inspection. The seats have not been inspected by the dealer/manufacturer as they are wanting to charge a large service fee and do not have…

2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA

Filed Aug 3, 2026

Recently, in the last 2 weeks since the writing of this post, I've noticed a sensation when doing a gradual turn anywhere between 20-60 MPH, and the steering wheel is at the 11 or 1 o clock position, the vehicle sticks. I then have to put force on the steering wheel to get it back to center and straighten out the driving path. This puts me and other drivers on the road in danger because it's extremely easy to oversteer and swerve off the road or into another driver, injuring or killing…

Periodically, the steering wheel will stick between the 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock position. The vehicle will not track back to center/driving straight and you have to overcome the sticking of the steering wheel. This is very dangerous!

We took our 2021 Pacifica Hybrid to the dealership for Recall 52D. The first charge at home after the recall melted one of the charging pins in the car, and on our home Level 2 charger. Our dealership now says it's the fault of our charger, and we'll have to pay $2000+ for a repair. Our charger handle is still fine, no damage, only the pin is melted. For safety reasons, we can't charge the vehicle, and aren't driving it, as it's still at the dealership.
