2023 CHRYSLER PACIFICA
Filed Aug 25, 2026
All relevant recalls on the vehicle have been previously performed. On 8/25/2026, after starting the vehicle it displayed a warning message to Stop Safely - Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon. That message was able to be cleared after four cycles of turning the engine off and re-starting. After driving the vehicle for approximately 5 miles, while the car was in motion, the message returned to Stop Safely - Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon. The van was pulled over and turned off and cycled back on in an…

When in a turn the steering wheel can feel stuck and you have to jerk the wheel to get it unstuck. Which could cause issues if there are cars driving next to you. This seems to be happening more and more often.

My vehicle has developed an intermittent and potentially serious safety-related failure. When the Engine Stop/Start system automatically shuts the engine off at a red light or stop sign, the vehicle sometimes fails to restart. At the same time, the electronic gear selector becomes locked, preventing me from selecting Neutral or moving the vehicle out of the roadway. The vehicle is therefore effectively immobilized in traffic. The only recovery method I have found is to disconnect both the main…

Power steering sticks at highway speed around curves. This problem is worsening and is dangerous. The car has been inspected with repair estimates around $5,000.
2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA
Filed Aug 24, 2026
The contact owns a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was displayed on the instrument panel soon after the vehicle was purchased. An independent mechanic replaced the EVAP purge valve, but after the repair, the power steering assist failed, and several unknown warning lights were illuminated. A mobile mechanic attempted to clear the codes, but the power steering failure persisted. The vehicle was then towed back to the independent mechanic, where a…

Another incidence of a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with sticky or intermittent loss of power steering while driving. This is not chronic at this point in time but is a problem that can catch one out if not paying attention. I ran my vin # and it shows no outstanding unfixed recalls but obviously this is a recurring safety problem that needs to be addressed. Recall V53 / NHTSA 19V-348 are the numbers that pop up from NUMEROUS complaints describing this very same issue.

This report is for a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with 90,100 miles. The check engine light came on in July 2026. It was a cylinder 5 misfire. The spark plugs and ignition coil were replaced. The check engine light came on again about 2 weeks later (cylinder 5 misfire again), was dismissed and reset by the shop, and came on again about 2 weeks later. This time, the shop diagnosed cylinder 5 misfire due to cylinder 5 is leaking coolant into the cylinders. They quoted $12,000 for engine replacement.…

The steering is sticky at highway speeds. While making slight curves, the steering feels momentarily unresponsive and then suddenly catches up to create a high potential for loss of control.
2022 CHRYSLER PACIFICA
Filed Aug 23, 2026
Chrysler issued this safety recall 52D at the end of June and still no remedy is being reported as available from Chrysler. This is abysmal customer performance and and unacceptable turnaround time for what amounts to a serious safety risk. Chrysler has not and continues not to provide an estimated timelines for resolution. I am renting a vehicle in the meantime given the safety risk (both while driving and while parked), paying for the rental cost out of pocket and taking a risk that Chrysler…
