2024 JEEP WRANGLER

Filed Aug 5, 2026

Fire

Engine temperature went up while driving. The warning light came on and I immediately pulled to the side of the road. After 6 minutes on the side of the road the engine started to smoke and then caught fire.

2022 JEEP WRANGLER

Vehicle total power loss while driving on the freeway, UNKNOWN cause. Vehicle will not turn off or turn on, shift gear locked. Seem to be a system communication between battery, transmission, ecu. Major safety risk while driving on the 3rd lane on the freeway driving 65mph with other vehicles around then sudden loss of power unable to accelarate. Was able to safely move to the shoulder and contacted AAA for towing to nearest dealership. Loss power and battery issues ongoing with same type…

2019 JEEP RENEGADE

Due to the rear camera not working due to a software issue for over a year now I can't adjust my wipers during the rain. I can't turn on or off the lights or anything else that is controlled by the screen, it doesn't work due to software issue. Since I can't use my camera I can't see things behind me. Sometimes when backing the parking brake will engage on its own with warning light parking brake sensor. Since I can't see the screen I can't adjust the heat or A/C, which makes driving in the…

2022 JEEP GLADIATOR

On July 30, my 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon suffered an extremely dangerous, unexpected complete electrical and engine failure while in operation. The vehicle abruptly shut down without any warning, causing an immediate loss of power steering and power braking. Prior to and during this shutdown, diagnostic codes associated with lost communication were triggered, (Lost Communication with Transmission Control Module). A total loss of vehicle power and primary control systems while driving presents…

2022 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE L

Forward Collision Warning has been disabled since a forced OTA software update in August of 2024. Jeep has issued a STAR report to their dealers (S248A000013). Jeep acknowledges it is an issue, but fails to cover the remedy. Dealer wants $200+ to diagnose plus the cost of the software refresh. The system forces you to take the software update, removes a key safety feature, and then Jeep wants you to pay to restore it. This is a major issue with this model covered in the forums and should…

2025 JEEP WRANGLER

Filed Aug 5, 2026

As I was driving a service electronic stability control came up on my dash and I lost control of the vehicle. The brakes did not work and it was hard to steer. I almost hit a vehicle and the Jeep kept rolling until it stopped. Then I received an alert that the brakes did system, anti lock brake system, and Electronic Stability System failure. This is very scary my vehicle is a lease and they say they are fixing it but I’m very scared I will lose control of my Jeep while I’m driving.

2021 JEEP WRANGLER

Filed Aug 5, 2026

The harmonic balancer on the motor failed and flew off the motor causing catastrophic damage to the radiator. The failure resulted in immediate disabling of the vehicle, which could have happened at high speeds or on a highway with limited access. The part that flew off the motor was also a large piece of solid metal that luckily landed in the bumper cavity, but if it would have left the engine compartment, would most certainly be a fatal projectile. Once taking it to the dealership, they…

The PTU is bad and I’ve replaced it twice with no successful fix

2022 JEEP WAGONEER

Filed Aug 4, 2026

While merging onto the interstate with my wife and kids in the car, the car engine stopped nearly causing a dangerous accident. Got it to a dealership and the etourque system needs a 4200 repair and I believe there is an investigation into this problem with Jeep

2015 JEEP WRANGLER

Filed Aug 4, 2026

Abs, brake, and traction control lights on. A jeep dealership was able to discern that the abs module is the cause and that part is on back order for months. In the meantime my vehicle is unfixable even if I were to find a used part from a donor vehicle.
