2015 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF

Filed Jul 16, 2026

15V483000 (VW Recall Code 69L2) was issued for 2014 Volkswagen Golf's indicating a clock spring affecting a cable that powers the air bag. This is indicated also by the airbag emergency light coming on. I believe a similar, if not the same, issue is occurring in my 2015 VW Golf. Furthermore, the issue has affected all mechanical buttons on the steering wheel. I had taken my vehicle to a VW mechanic that indicated a recall had been issued for this problem. However, upon my own further…

2018 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS

Filed Jul 16, 2026

The water pump failed catastrophically at 63,100 miles, forcing a complete road-side breakdown and damaging the radiator. This is a known manufacturing defect affecting the 3.6L VR6 composite plastic pumps. Due to the failure of the pump, the radiator tank became hot causing a hole to form in the radiator and needing to be replaced. I still own this car and you may inspect it if needed. My safety was at risk as well as others safely was put at risk because this caused car to over heat…

2026 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF R

Filed Jul 16, 2026

Emergency braking system has applied itself on four different occasions where nothing was in front of me and one time was it highway speeds doing 70 mph The brakes completely locked up on the highway making people behind me have to take evasive action and not hit me while I'm stopped on the highway with my car parked and the emergency brake on The other time it happened just rolling through an intersection nobody in front of me just locked them up at about 45 mph The other two times were fairly…

2021 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4

Filed Jul 16, 2026

The previous recall to fix the screen issue did not work. Both screens, the infotainment and instrument cluster, continue to randomly go blank and reboot. This removes the backup camera and speedometer for a period of time while driving.

2023 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN

Filed Jul 16, 2026

XXX my Tiguan was serviced at Byers VW and received the recommended 80k maintenance. During this recommended service my vehicle passed the multi-point inspection except tires and brakes. On XXX I contacted your service department because as I was driving to [XXX] my check oil level came on. An appointment was scheduled for Tuesday. After the inspection was completed Tuesday it was determined that the value seal needed to be replaced which was already completed 25k miles prior therefore a…

2021 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4

Filed Jul 16, 2026

My 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S has unexpectedly lost propulsion and come to a complete stop while being driven on at least three separate occasions. When this occurs, the vehicle jolts, stops moving, and cannot be placed into Drive or Reverse. I am only able to shift it into Neutral. After the first incident, I took the vehicle to a Volkswagen dealership the following morning. The dealership stated they could not reproduce the problem or identify any faults. The same failure occurred twice in…

2025 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN

Filed Jul 16, 2026

My car has 842 miles on it. There have been multiple occasions where it breaks on its own. When I am backing out of my driveway, there is a neighbors tree that is close to the driveway and a small branch causes. The emergency brake to go on in your head to slam into the back of the seat. When making a left hand turn on a 4 lane road with nothing in the road it has break causing you to fly forward. I’ve only had the car for a few months and multiple times it has done this.

2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS

Filed Jul 16, 2026

Struts but were told it's either stabilizer or steering rod

2018 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA

Filed Jul 16, 2026

My vehicle has an active, federally mandated safety recall for a fuel rail leak (Recall 24Gi / 20V648000), which is a documented fire hazard. The vehicle now has an active EPC (Electronic Power Control) dashboard light and a fuel odor. When I called my local authorized Volkswagen dealership—Southern Team Volkswagen at 6520 Peters Creek Road in Roanoke, VA—to schedule the safety repair, the service department flat-out refused to take the vehicle. The representative stated that they are not…
