2014 NISSAN PATHFINDER
Filed Jun 23, 2026
Rear Door / lift gate will not go all the way up or stay up without manual assistance, causing 2 head injuries and 2 arm injuries on recent occasions. We have confirmed with the dealer & one Nissan Certified Mechanic that this is a common problem. The dealer & 2 mechanics have said they do not know how to fix this without replacing the entire lifting assembly. We did not ask for estimates. We should not have to, but we can live with the problem now that we are aware of it. Transmission was…

2020 NISSAN LEAF

While driving with cruise control set to a certain speed (i do not recall the exact speed it was set to) I pressed the button that lowers the current speed it is set to, but instead of lowring by one mph it raised the speed, pressing again raised the speed again. this continued a few times until i turned off cruise control. The system has been buggy in the past, for example not responding to a button or raising by 2 or 3 mph instead of one (the Leaf goes one by one, not jumps like some…

2019 NISSAN LEAF
Filed Jun 23, 2026
My 2019 Nissan Leaf SL Plus is subject to NHTSA Recall 24V-700 for a battery defect that poses a fire risk during DC fast charging. The recall was issued in September 2024 with a fix promised by November 2024. Nissan repeatedly delayed the remedy, first to Spring 2025, then Q3 2025, then March 2026, then an indefinite date in 2026. During this time I was instructed not to use Level 3 DC fast charging. I was without this capability for approximately 18 months. I purchased the SL Plus…
2019 NISSAN ROGUE

2022 NISSAN PATHFINDER
Filed Jun 22, 2026
The rear brakes on my 2022 Nissan pathfinder are having unusual fast deterioration. I purchased the car at 13,000 miles and had to replace the rear brakes at 25,000 miles and now once again I am having to replace the rear brakes again at 52,000. This seems very odd since the front brakes have not needed replacement yet. I also have been advised to replace the rear calipers which are also very early for a car with 52,000.
