2018 NISSAN ALTIMA

Filed Aug 25, 2026

The passenger‑side airbag warning light first appeared within the first year of ownership. During that visit, the dealership did not repair the defect. They only reset the warning light and told me it was not a problem. No diagnostic documentation or repair explanation was provided, and the underlying issue was not addressed. The warning light returned in April 2026, showing the same unresolved defect. The dealership stated the repair would cost approximately $2,000 and said neither the…

The high-voltage battery on my 2022 Nissan Leaf is subject to Recall 25V655. The recall notice states that the battery cells can develop excessive lithium deposits, which increases electrical resistance and can cause rapid battery heating during Level 3 fast charging. Nissan instructs owners not to use Level 3 charging at all until a “remedy” is available. The issue is that the remedy described by Nissan is not an actual repair of the battery defect. Nissan states it will install software that…

2026 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed Aug 24, 2026

The contact owns a 2026 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact entered the vehicle and there was a loud abnormal sound coming from the rear of the vehicle. The contact exited the vehicle, walked to the rear of the vehicle, and discovered that the rear glass had exploded. No warning lights were illuminated. A dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not yet notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately…

2021 NISSAN LEAF

A recall fix was done for the back up camera about a year ago. That was a national recall for an issue with the system. My car started the same exact issue about 3 weeks ago. No back up camera, pink or blue screen, glitchy. I contacted Nissan about it and it didn't seem like they wanted to make the repair again or fix the issue at no cost. I was wondering if other owners have had the same issue and if you can intervene. Thank you

2023 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed Aug 24, 2026

The engine failed, and yes its available for inspection, my safety was put at risk due to the white billowing smoke out the exhaust and the smell entering in the vehicle while driving down the interstate, i proceeded to pull off onto an exit and stop at a red light and my car made me put into park and then proceeded to not crank or move other then neutral, The problem was originally part of an active recall of R25D10 Reprogramming the ECM, and P4A470 replacing the turbo hose. I originally…

2021 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed Aug 24, 2026

On July 29th 2024 (two weeks after regular oil change) i noticed the engine temperature rise to the halfway mark. I stopped at Sheetz and waited for it to cool down. I opened the coolant cap and only a few drops remained in the reservoir. I added coolant and called Timbrook Nissan to complain they didn't top off the coolant. I was advised that those Rogues are known to leak coolant out of the back. I took it to the dealership for diagnosis on August 10th. They advised that the 4th piston is…

2014 NISSAN VERSA

Filed Aug 24, 2026

The contact's daughter owns a 2014 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle made abnormal sounds, failed to accelerate while turning, and shuddered abnormally. The RPM remained steady with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, and it was determined that the wheel bearing and continuously variable transmission (CVT) needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made…

2023 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed Aug 24, 2026

The contact's mother owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle lost power with the message Engine Malfunction - Power Reduced displayed. The vehicle went into LIMP Mode and was towed to the dealer. The dealer initially replaced the water pump under warranty; however, several months later, the failure reoccurred, and the vehicle was towed back to the dealer, and the mass airflow sensor code was retrieved. The contact declined to pay the estimate provided…
