2017 AUDI Q3
Filed Aug 24, 2026
I am reporting a serious safety concern involving my 2017 Audi Q3 Premium Plus, VIN [XXX]. The vehicle is experiencing excessive engine oil consumption requiring frequent addition of oil. I reported the oil-consumption problem shortly after purchasing the vehicle. Audi Coral Springs recently diagnosed the vehicle and recommended substantial repairs. The dealership identified a crankcase breather/PCV condition causing oil to enter the intake system and also recommended replacement of the timing…
2020 AUDI Q8
Filed Aug 22, 2026
I am reporting an ongoing cooling-system/water-pump issue with my 2020 Audi Q8, approximately 75,000 miles. The problem began when the vehicle repeatedly displayed a low-coolant warning. Inspection confirmed the coolant level was very low and a significant problem involving the coolant pump/vacuum system was diagnosed. The water pump was subsequently replaced. After the repair, the vehicle initially appeared normal, but problems continued. I experienced engine sputtering/rough running and the…
2020 AUDI Q5
Filed Aug 21, 2026
Electrical system failure due to water in the spare tire & battery well, purchased key fob, 2 auto batteries unable to program fob due to non compatible 1st battery, info display contact dealer, had the water extracted, there were no prior indicators of an upcoming issue until the morning of May 22,2026 when my vehicle wouldn't start so I called roadside assistance for a boost. The key symbol is constant on display now, after over 2mos @the dealer, made several calls to Audi Corp, Audi. com, …
2022 AUDI A5
Filed Aug 20, 2026
The clutch does not engage properly and the vehicle makes a grinding noise when starting to move and while making right and left turns.
2024 AUDI Q5 E
Filed Aug 20, 2026
I purchased the car in October, 2023. The problem first happened in October, 2025 and not happened just once. The vehicle breaks unnecessarily and violently without any warning. Additionally the pre-sense collision indicator light displays when there is no apparent person, vehicle or object in the vicinity of the vehicle. The abrupt breaking is the most concerning since it has happened multiple times and at one point, I was in the middle of an intersection making a left turn into a shopping…
2021 AUDI Q5
Filed Aug 20, 2026
On 8/3/26, my 2021 Audi Q5 began throwing numerous different malfunction/error alerts and the engine turned off while driving after a bottle of water had partially spilled onto our backseat behind the drivers side. The vehicle was towed to a nearby mechanic who determined that liquid damaged the gateway control module located under the backseat of the vehicle, as the gateway control module is placed in a protective cover (an unsealed plastic bag) and that bag visibly had liquid inside of it. We…
2015 AUDI A3
Filed Aug 19, 2026
My 2015 Audi A3 was subject to a fuel suction jet pump safety recall. Before the recall repair was available, the vehicle developed a fuel leak and fuel-spilling problem. Audi inspected the vehicle in XXX and documented that its Tech Line advised replacing the fuel tank and all attaching components, with a quoted cost of approximately $5,730. I was unable to afford this repair and questioned why the fuel tank needed replacement. Audi subsequently performed the suction jet pump recall repair in…
2024 AUDI Q4 E-TRON
Filed Aug 19, 2026
Within the first 6 months of owning the car my 2024 Audi Q4 E-tron premium door handle lock - unlock would not work and the car would intermittently not start. The dealership service replaced the 12-volt battery which has corrected the door handle lock-unlock issue; however, it has not corrected the no start problem. If I exit and enter the car multiple times it will eventually start (automatic seat start). The dealership service department cannot reproduce the problem therefore no solution…
2025 AUDI Q5 E
Filed Aug 19, 2026
While driving at about 60 mph on highway, several systems in the car failed without prior warning. The message on dashboard said Catastrophic Electric System Failure. Brakes would not work for a moment and then started working. All windows came down and went up on their own. No lights were working. No blinkers or side lights were working. With a lot of difficulty and hand signals moved to the hard shoulder. The engine would not turn off for several minutes and turned off after multiple…
2022 AUDI SQ7
Filed Aug 19, 2026
Multiple P029900 codes and check engine lights, coolant loss, coolant leaking and burning smell, loss of power. On the most recent trip to the dealership this problem was diagnosed, and the invoice states recommend replacing vacuum lines, actuators and all affected parts. The dealership will not send in the warranty claim stating there's not enough evidence. This is a known issue with leaking water pumps and coolant ingress into the vacuum system. Why are we still waiting for a recall on these…
