2025 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed Jul 16, 2026

In July 16, 2026, at 4:34 pm I was driving my Nissan Rogue at 45 mph with my elderly mother in law sitting next to the window it exploded for no apparent reason. There was no other traffic next to us and in looking at the shattered glass that rained into the car there was no rock, bullet, or any foreign matter that would have caused the glass to explode. The weather outside was partly cloudy and the temperature was in the mid-90s. It is a new car but this was a very dangerous thing to happen…

2021 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed Jul 15, 2026

I was driving my 2021 Nissan Rogue on the highway, returning from the airport after picking up a friend, when the check engine light illuminated and the vehicle began jerking on acceleration. The vehicle lost power and would only move very slowly, leaving me traveling well below highway speed in active traffic. This created an extremely dangerous situation, as surrounding vehicles were approaching at full highway speed while my vehicle could not accelerate or maintain a safe speed. The vehicle…

2023 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed Jul 15, 2026

My vehicle experienced severe stalling, rough idling, and a strong burning smell, which match the exact defect characteristics outlined in NHTSA Campaign 26V080 for Nissan main bearing failure (The year 2026 campaign is active). The vehicle was towed to a Nissan dealership, where technicians confirmed the engine requires complete replacement. However, the dealership is currently attempting to attribute the engine failure to 'coil intrusion' rather than the active bearing recall. The vehicle was…

2022 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed Jul 15, 2026

The engine failed, and the overheating due to it caused the head gasket to warp. I have multiple recordings from Nissan advising this is a manufacturer defect, but they refuse to fix it unless we pay $5000+. I was driving on the high way and the vehicle shut off. Luckily i was able to safely get off but I was almost struck. I have recorded conversations with the dealership where they confirm they have multiple vehicles in the shop with the same issue. Its sitting at a Nissan dealership…

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled after idling and then attempting to accelerate. The failure was intermittent but became more frequent over time. While pulling out of a parking lot and turning into oncoming traffic, the transmission failed to shift gears properly or accelerate. The contact was able to coast into the next parking lot, shifted to park, activated the hazard lights, shifted to drive, and then waited until traffic cleared to continue…

The vehicle failed to exceed 50 MPH while driving with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a certified mechanic, who diagnosed the vehicle with variable valve timing failure with DTC: P0012 displayed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure reoccurred and the vehicle was taken to the dealer. The…

2021 NISSAN ROGUE

Filed Jul 14, 2026

I have two major safety concerns for my 2021 Nissan Rogue. 1) FAILED REAR DOOR ACTUATORS ON BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE OF VEHICLE: I own a 2021 Nissan Rogue with approximately 68,000 miles. The rear driver AND passenger side door lock actuator failed, causing the rear doors to no longer lock or unlock electronically using either the key fob or the interior power door lock switch. The door must now be operated manually from the inside, no one can freely open the doors from the…
