My Brake Vacuum Pump is broken, with oil leaking into the vacuum reservoir. The brake distance is much longer. I searched the web and found out a lot of people had the same issue.

BMW SIB 51 33 16 (NHTSA ID 10200233) Manufacturer defect resulting in water slowly backing up into trunk and other parts of car until it completely fills side panels, floor of car, ect. In November 2025, I was driving an errand on city streets in a neighborhood. Speed was approximately 30-35MPH. Two lane road. There were no hazards in the road and while I was descending down a hill, my forward collision/emergency braking system activating, causing my vehicle to come to a complete and full stop from road speed. The contact owns a 2020 BMW X5. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V644000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

The passenger seat occupancy sensor, an electrocapacitive mat (ecm), is defective on a large number of cars on the g30/fop platform including mine. This leads to intermittent sensor faults which cause an airbag warning.

I reported this to an authorized BMW dealer before/during service and requested review for possible front-end, steering, suspension, axle, swivel bearing, tie rod, thrust rod, or vehicle-control safety issues. Entire car was bricked after a software update (03/2026.54). Even the gear could not be changed to neutral for placing on a tow truck. Nothing wrong with the batteries. After more than 12 hours, finally the engine powered on but the software failure notification sign would still not work, and car had to be towed to authorized service center for a clean software reinstall.
