Jeep Liberty

Two of my sons were involved in a rollover accident. Thankfully, they are ok with minor injuries and bruising. However, none of the airbags deployed.

The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the front windshield wipers inadvertently activated. ball joint recall was issues and done on paper in August 2006 on the Jeep liberty. Both ball joint have failed on this vehicle at different times this year while driving the vehicle and Jeep has declined to take any responsibility in any way. This is a major safety concern as any kind of speed while this occurs would be catastrophic. I suspect that Jeep submitted that the recall was fixed when in fact it was not and documents were falsified.

The lower ball joint on passenger side failed. Didn't notice any symptoms prior to it breaking. I understand that it was apparently under recall. It was repaired around the recall date but it failed again and is considered recurring failure.

The driver's side active headrest spontaneously deployed while driving down the highway.

Airbag light has been coming on and stays on. When I start my vehicle the airbag in the dash on passenger side sounds like it’s trying to escape. Scary. I have a service appointment for April 2, 2026, Thursday. They can’t get me in sooner. I understand the recall doesn’t apply. I’m stating that it SHOULD! Please expand your recall to more Jeep models. I want this on record as I am deeply concerned about my safety.

i recieved the car from a private party and he stated no issues but since older car and now registration is due it states theres still an open recall is this vehicle still covered for it?
