While merging onto the interstate with my wife and kids in the car, the car engine stopped nearly causing a dangerous accident. Got it to a dealership and the etourque system needs a 4200 repair and I believe there is an investigation into this problem with Jeep

Problem occurs randomly and have not been able to consistently repeat results. Vehicle stops and shuts off and puts itself into park. Restart vehicle and it drives normally. It did this once pulling out of a parking lot into traffic, oncoming traffic was able to stop to avoid us. We brought it to the dealership to be looked at and they found nothing wrong. The vehicle is unsafe; it freezes while driving leaving one unable to navigate in any way. Everything ceases at once - nothing works, you can't put it into P/D/R/N, it won't accellerate or turn off. The right second row passenger seat in a 2022 Jeep Wagoneer appeared to be pushed fully rearward into its normal seating position and produced an audible/tactile click. The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Wagoneer. The contact stated that the vehicle intermittently went into park(P) and turned off while merging into traffic with the message Stop/Start Required displayed. Bought car brand new had it two weeks and the tire kept loosing air. Had tire checked nothing wrong with tire had tire company come to house took tire off and rim was cracked Jeep would not pay for repair. Had to buy a new rim There is a current recall on Cherokee and gladiator with same issue

While driving down the road, I came to a stop and the vehicle started flashing every light then would not restart or allow the vehicle to be put into neutral. Initially thought maybe a battery issue despite my new battery being only eight months old replaced the battery and all the electronics started going haywire requiring the vehicle to be towed.

While driving on the highway going 70 mph, the vehicle lost all power and shut down engaging the automatic emergency brake system. This is the second time it has happened. Car is currently at dealership awaiting service.
