Child safety at risk I saw a child (estimate 3-5 y/o) sitting in front seat of Waymo vehicle at 2:08pm at Bedford Dr. and Peck Dr. in Beverly Hills, CA. There did not appear to be an adult in the vehicle.

This vehicle is subject to NHTSA Recall 26V067 (JLR campaign H570/H571/H572) for high-voltage battery thermal overload risk. The recall remedy instructs owners to park and charge the vehicle outside and away from structures. My property does not allow for this: the vehicle must be garaged in a bay directly beneath an occupied room, adjacent to two other vehicles, and near the home's main electrical panel and gas furnace. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed the status of the recall but was unable to provide a date when parts would be available. The contact had not experienced a failure.
