There is a great deal of vibration at highway speeds. It has been like this since I purchased the car.

The AC system releases refrigerant into the cabin due to Volvo improperly engineering the climate control and allowing the evaporator core to freeze and crack. They acknowledge the issue and have released a resister cable to prevent the evaporator core from cracking. I have tested the air in the cabin, and the VOC level is at a dangerous level due to the refrigerant leak. The car just received the latest Volvo over air software update - v3.7. The car has twice had the driver's display screen lose its ability to display the map between the speedometer and the tach (map image pixiilates and display goes white) and then the entire display goes blank. When this failure mode is active, I have had to use Google maps or Waze on my cellphone to determine my actual speed. The driver's display screen does eventually reboot.

My Volvo was left in the garage for three weeks while on vacation, came back and the sunroof was cracked. The dealer inspected the car, but claim the sunroof was hit (which is not true). There is no evidence that the sunroof was hit.

The contact owns a 2023 Volvo S90PHEV. The contact stated that while driving in B-Mode, the braking system failed to operate properly. The contact stated that it felt as if the brake pedal was automatically being pumped. There were no warning lights illuminated. The local dealer was contacted, and informed the contact the failure was caused by a software failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 22,411.

On July 13, 2025, as I was entering a small parking lot, my car suddenly accelerated on its own and crashed through a metal gate at the far end of the lot and then hit a large docked tourist boat.
