After coming to a stop at a STOP sign, the vehicle accelerated unintentionally, crossing the highway and hitting a parked car, causing injuries and totaling my vehicle. While my vehicle sustained a crumbled chassis, no airbags were deployed, causing injuries to the driver and passenger. Parked at work as usual on 8/17/2026 in the morning and in the afternoon when i was ready to go home, i noticed the windshield was chipped closed to the bottom. The chip itself is quite tiny and doesn’t look like it was hit by an object. The crack link goes upwards and turns towards the passenger side. The weather has been very hot in the past several weeks.

The radio display intermittently goes black

1) Passenger airbag isn’t measuring weight properly. Airbag safety message says airbag is off when seat is occupied. 2) Driver’s side seat heater is not working. The light registers that it is on, but it’s not. 3) Other I cannot describe

low‑beam headlights/headlight assembly issues. Moisture getting in, corrosion of prongs that connect to the headlight assembly. Dimming lights once assembly was replaced. Condensation in the headlights. Some bulbs work while others don't.

Turning into a driveway with foot on brake, the Venza suddenly lurched forward hitting garage door and lurched backwards. no warning lights came on or air bags. Car was maybe doing 2 to 3 mph at the most, as it is a very short driveway. There were no Collision avoidance signals whatsoever. The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Venza. The contact stated that upon parking the vehicle, the vehicle unintendedly accelerated to 15 MPH, and the contact continued to depress the brake pedal. The center console has cracked and has sharp corners causing an increased risk of injury. Also may cause one to jerk the wheel if placing their elbow down and not expecting the sharp corner. No accident occurred as of yet, but could if someone else were to be driving my car and place their arm down on the center console. I have to place my arm down a certain way to avoid getting poked.
