Toyota Tundra

My 2024 tundra with 55000 miles suddenly lost all power going down a major highway. The engine failed suddenly. Luckily I didn’t wreck. I paid out of pocket to have it towed to dealership where it has sat untouched for 9 days. The engine is included in the recall that they have.

My 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition, VIN [XXX], is subject to Toyota Safety Recall 25TA06, Interim 25TB06, NHTSA Recall 25V322, concerning reverse lamps that may become inoperable. The recall was announced in May 2025, but a repair remedy has still not been made available for my vehicle. When you almost stop but then hit the gas there is a dead petal. The vehicle doesn’t accelerate. Then you almost get t boned. They know about the problem but say everything is fine. It’s traction control. It is not. I guess I will have to sue if I survive the crash.

Summary of Complaint I am submitting this complaint to report what I believe may be a safety-related defect involving the twin-turbocharger system on my 2022 Toyota Tundra (VIN: [XXX]). 2016 flex fuel toyota tundra with 118,00 miles was towed to toyota dealer in Las cruces with a no fuel issue. After the analysis it was determined the fuel pump over heated burning out conector and wiring ,but the pump was still working. According to toyota TSB 0166-19 this is a problem the can arise if the alcohol fuel density ID is not updated.
