We have dropped off our vehicle in January of 2026 for an engine recall with Toyota. We are about to go into the 8th month of no repair. We have a Toyota Brand Engagement Center Case number 260615000517. Still no engine ID'd by corporate nor any updates towards eta. We have a loaner, but our truck is sitting with brand new tires and loosing value daily.

Forward facing Camera's: After vehicle was recalled for a refacing camera issue and repaired for that recall, now the forward facing camera does not work properly. When coming to stop or while stopped the forward facing camera's no longer work. They only come on when I get close to something. They also no longer read speed limit signs. The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Tundra. The contact received notification of NTHSA Campaign Number: 25V322000 (Exterior Lighting); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

Driving on the interstate and the truck surged very hard. The truck began to surge very hard and went into decreased speed mode. We were told by the dealer there is a TSB for the PCM. This decreased power caused the truck to not be able to travel over 25 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. This caused an unsafe situation.

The dealership and Toyota Engagement Center refused to service the 2 recalls that was critical for the truck since October 2025. It was supposed to be including frame replacement and other parts but Toyota Engagement decided to active buy back option and took advantage of low offer to solve the matter which I don't accept.

5/4/26 Truck brough in for service, I raised concerns of hesitation from a rolling stop/complete stop. This hesitation had happened to me a dozen or so times since purchasing the truck new in August of 2024.
