Copper wiring on driver seat caught fire causing damage to driver door driver harness underneath the dash and electric seat mechanism also caused staining to the fabric and interior

Twice: once in August and most importantly 09/07/2024 was slowing down to stop at a dry cleaners when the car reved up and accelerated forward. I continued to apply brakes all the way to the floor and couldn’t get it to stop, so ran into the businesses’s van. I was recently informed about a previous recall on a dashboard issue I've been dealing with for years. I have a sticky cracking dashboard that imitates a smell in warm to hot temperatures. I have own this vehicle since 2014 and lived at the same address since 2006. Never have I been made aware of the recalls on this issue. I have visited a dealership and sent written communication to Toyota in Plano TX.
