2024 TOYOTA SIENNA HYBRID

Filed Aug 3, 2026

I have never been in an accident in my 31 years of driving. However, I am worried that this van is going to cause me to be hit. Several times I have pulled out to make a left or right turn and my gas pedal does NOTHING. I can push it clear to the floor and NOTHING!!! Cars end up slamming on their brakes and honking at me but there's nothing I can do. This is EXTREMELY scary and a HUGE HUGE HUGE manufacturing flaw. There needs to be a recall for this to be fixed before people are injured.

I am reporting a potential safety issue involving the passenger-side power sliding door on a 2022 Toyota Sienna. On XXX, my [XXX] child was outside the vehicle in a wagon while the passenger-side sliding door was closing. He reached toward the vehicle, and his fingers became trapped near the front edge of the sliding door, closest to the front passenger door. The power door did not stop or reverse after contacting his fingers. It continued closing, clicked shut, and fully latched with his…

Vehicle safety SOS button is not functioning properly. When the SOS button is depressed in case of emergency, the vehicle notifies user at the emergency system is un operational. Toyota includes this for 10 years from the date purchase and my vehicle is a 2021 making this feature active till 2031. By having the SOS button nonfunctional occupants of the vehicle, which may rely on this feature may sustain injury or death by this feature not operating correctly in the event of an accident.

Seat height not adjusting is ludicrous and a hazard! My husband is 6'4, my sons, 6'1, they seat height is not safe and braking/turns cause them to hit their heads. This could be life threatening in a real accident. There should be a lower profile seat that could be installed by Toyota. This is not safe!

2015 TOYOTA SIENNA

Filed Jul 17, 2026

I am submitting this complaint to request that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) document and evaluate what may be a broader defect affecting certain Toyota Sienna vehicles and determine whether it presents a potential safety-related defect trend. My 2015 Toyota Sienna was diagnosed by an authorized Toyota dealership with an external rear-bank head gasket leak. A head gasket is a critical engine component, and failure can result in coolant loss, engine overheating,…
