I was driving to work when all of a sudden I heard a loud noise which caused me to stop and panicked. It sounded like a gunshot. My PTSD and anxiety kicked in. Seconds later I felt the glass on my arm and I looked up and my back sunroof exploded

My wife calls every other day and it car has went thru 2 different teams worth neither of them calling the dealer for information. Desert toyota of tucson is trying to help but toyota is ignoring our claims. I'm a…

2024 TOYOTA SEQUOIA HYBRID

Filed Jun 18, 2026

Component Affected: Exterior Lighting (Tail Lamps) / Electrical System. Description of Defect and Safety Hazard:The rear tail lamp assemblies on this 2024 Toyota Sequoia have suffered a major sealing and adhesive compromise, permitting road dirt and fine debris to bypass internal filters and permanently accumulate inside the housing. This is a progressive design defect identical to the one that triggered Toyota’s massive 443,000-unit rear-lighting safety recall (Recall 25TA14 / 25TB14) for…

2015 TOYOTA SEQUOIA

Filed Jun 17, 2026

The vehicle is a 2015 Toyota Sequoia with the 5.7L V8 engine and approximately 192,632 miles. The vehicle developed an abnormal internal engine/timing noise, especially when warm. An authorized Toyota dealer inspected the vehicle and diagnosed an internal engine/timing-related condition involving timing chain tensioners, timing chains, chain guides, camshaft gears, lifters, gaskets/resealing, and related labor. The estimated repair cost is approximately $19,716. The concern is safety-related…

According to Toyota the exact same engine that is in my vehicle has a recall on it. However, since my vehicle has also had a hybrid system installed my engine is not covered. Basically, because the hybrid system offers the engine power relief there saying that the engine is okay which is not true. The same engine is the same engine. The faults of the engine in non-hybrids is the same faults in the hybrid just undiscovered as of yet. A recall should be made in order to update the hybrid engines…

I am submitting a safety complaint regarding a set of Lionhart Lionclaw ATX2 tires purchased through Walmart and installed by a professional tire shop. After installation, the vehicle developed a persistent vibration at driving speeds. The vehicle was inspected by Discount Tire, which performed road-force testing and documented high road-force measurements on all four tires: 39 lbs, 46 lbs, 44 lbs, and 42 lbs. Discount Tire also attempted road-force matching and documented that the condition…

2023 TOYOTA SEQUOIA HYBRID

Filed Jun 11, 2026

I would like to create a complaint because my 2023 Toyota Sequoia is not included in the NHTSA recall #25V767 for the V35A 3.4L i Force Max twin turbo V6 hybrid. My Sequoia was manufactured on the same production line as engines that have been recalled for engine debris in the Tundra trucks and Sequoia's. Toyota's reasoning for not including my hybrid vehicle is it's not a safety concern as the hybrid electric motor will provide power if the V35A gasoline portion of the engine should fail.…

2026 TOYOTA SEQUOIA HYBRID

Complaint Against Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. I am filing this complaint regarding the extraordinary delay in obtaining Toyota replacement parts needed to repair my 2026 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro. I purchased this vehicle new for approximately $89,000. On [XXX], it was rear-ended by another driver. The vehicle was delivered to the Ed Morse collision repair center, Delray Beach on April 3, 2026 and has remained there ever since. The repair cannot be completed because Toyota replacement…

2010 TOYOTA SEQUOIA

Filed Jun 9, 2026

I bought the vehicle under the assumption that it only had 138,000 miles on it. Upon trying to register it with Carfax I was informed that the odometer had been tampered with and the actual mileage is 345,000

2024 TOYOTA SEQUOIA HYBRID

The power liftgate and pinch sensor system on my 2024 Toyota Sequoia Platinum continues to malfunction intermittently and creates an ongoing safety concern. The liftgate frequently fails to close using the electronic controls and instead emits two warning beeps before becoming completely unresponsive, forcing the liftgate to be manually pushed shut. The pinch sensor system appears to falsely detect obstructions when none are present, causing unreliable and inconsistent operation of the rear…
