There is a hole in the frame because of the rust.

I have a 2024 Toyota Sequoia for the V35A twin-turbo V6 engine hybrid engine. My most recent oil change is showing signs for metal debris in the oil filter. Why is my vehicle not part of the engine recall?

My 2003 Sequoia was in the garage for a check on the brakes. I also asked them to check the frame for any rust issues, because I had previously been concerned about it earlier. They reported to me that the car should be off the road because the rust in the frame was so severe. They said they would not put it up on the lift anymore because it could break in half. The contact owns a 2026 Toyota Sequoia Hybrid. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH on the interstate, there was a loud popping sound coming from the sunroof, and the sunroof glass shattered. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the sunroof needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The motor in our 2023 Toyota Sequoia with around 32,000 miles failed and left me stranded on the side of a two lane highway in the middle of the night. Toyota only wants to replace the engine block and will not extend the warranty on the motor after it is repaired.
