There is a hole in the frame because of the rust.
2024 TOYOTA SEQUOIA HYBRID
Filed Aug 24, 2026
I have a 2024 Toyota Sequoia for the V35A twin-turbo V6 engine hybrid engine. My most recent oil change is showing signs for metal debris in the oil filter. Why is my vehicle not part of the engine recall?
2003 TOYOTA SEQUOIA
Filed Aug 17, 2026
My 2003 Sequoia was in the garage for a check on the brakes. I also asked them to check the frame for any rust issues, because I had previously been concerned about it earlier. They reported to me that the car should be off the road because the rust in the frame was so severe. They said they would not put it up on the lift anymore because it could break in half. The stabilizer was barely connected at one end. There were holes completely through the frame at several places. I know from my…

The contact owns a 2026 Toyota Sequoia Hybrid. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH on the interstate, there was a loud popping sound coming from the sunroof, and the sunroof glass shattered. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the sunroof needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the cost of the repair was not covered. The approximate failure mileage was…
2023 TOYOTA SEQUOIA HYBRID
Filed Jul 21, 2026
Formal complaint that 2022 thru 2025 Toyota Sequoia equipped with the 3.4L twin-turbo V6 engine architecture (V35A-FTS) suffering from the notorious main bearing failure be included in the current recall of 2022 thru 2025 Toyota Tundra. If the engine block mechanically seizes, the entire drivetrain locks up, rendering the hybrid backup ineffective, creating a major safety issue. (NHTSA Campaign 25V767)
2008 TOYOTA SEQUOIA
Filed Jul 21, 2026
While accelerating to pass a vehicle that was signaling and operating well below the speed limit, my vehicle experienced sudden and continued unintended acceleration. I was able to bring the vehicle to a stop while fighting against the engine within an intersection but the engine continued building revs, bouncing off the limiter while my foot was entirely removed from the accelerator pedal and fully applied to the brake. During this time I had moved the gear selector to neutral, only furthering…

2025 TOYOTA SEQUOIA HYBRID
Filed Jul 14, 2026
I'm looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with a Toyota warranty denial. I own a 2025 Toyota Sequoia that is still under warranty. I first brought it to Mountain States Toyota because the power liftgate would only partially open, beep repeatedly, and would not open or close correctly using the buttons. I also noticed the right side of the liftgate was not sitting flush. The dealership confirmed in writing that the liftgate was misaligned, would not operate correctly, and that there was a…
2023 TOYOTA SEQUOIA HYBRID
Filed Jul 1, 2026
The motor in our 2023 Toyota Sequoia with around 32,000 miles failed and left me stranded on the side of a two lane highway in the middle of the night. Toyota only wants to replace the engine block and will not extend the warranty on the motor after it is repaired. This is the same motor that is in the Tundra that was recalled (NHTSA recall #25V767 for the V35A 3.4L i Force Max twin turbo V6 hybrid). Why is there not a recall on the Sequoia's motor? Now I will have a motor that has been torn…
