2015 INFINITI Q50

Filed Jul 15, 2026

While driving my 2015 Infiniti Q50s, the transmission suddenly suffered a catastrophic electronic failure, causing the vehicle to immediately drop into limp mode. This resulted in a sudden and dangerous loss of acceleration while operating in traffic. A diagnostic scan revealed trouble codes P0500 and P0720 (Output Speed Sensor circuit). However, following Infiniti's official Technical Service Bulletin (TSB ITB19-040), the actual failure was the Transmission Control Module (TCM), which is…

Air bags failed. Auto has 28,000 miles and has no accidents. Warning light showed that airbags were not working June 2026. Auto brought to dealer, and it is a very costly job to fix. Auto just out of warranty in years not miles. Infiniti in previous years has had a recall on their cars, but not my VIN number for failing airbags. This is a manufacturing defect, and it should not have to cost me. Infiniti has offered a partial discount.

DAS issue that I have been dealing with for two months now, issue is still not resolved even after taking out a personal loan for 6k to fix the modules at Douglas Infiniti, waited weeks for the modules, they replaced the modules, did the calibration but a new issue is happening where I'm losing control for a split second and the car would either pull to the left or right egregiously. I took it to back to Douglas Infiniti for the issue, they found code C13E9-00, cleared the code and did the…

2017 INFINITI Q50

Filed Jun 15, 2026

Affected: Steering/Electrical/Direct Adaptive Steering, 50K miles While driving my 2017 Infinity Q50s under normal driving conditions, the vehicle suffered an instantaneous, catastrophic, and total failure of the power steering assist system without any prior warning or dashboard fault indicators. The sudden loss of steering assist immediately caused the steering wheel to become incredibly heavy and virtually locked, requiring extreme, dangerous physical exertion to maintain minimal control…

Something happened to cause power loss. I checked the recalls and work that was supposed to be performed but didn’t get done like it was supposed to. I need to have it checked now asap! I see 2 engine replacements and also the turbos and 2 of the catalytic converters. The last 2 need replacing as well or it’s not going to be right.
