I have had nothing but trouble with software issues since the very first recall (software related) on my vehicle, just a few months after I purchased it. I have had a very difficult time having Hyundai address these issues, and recently opened my third case with Hyundai. The issue: On 6/24/26 Peddar Hyundai conducted the software update for the recall regarding the front collision system. Later in the day on 6/24/26 and in the days following, whenever I turned on the car, Googlemaps would…

2022 HYUNDAI TUCSON

On XXX, while approaching a stop sign, the vehicle did not engage the brakes as expected. I had to press the brake pedal multiple times, and the vehicle jerked several times before it came to a stop. Given that a brake failure of this kind poses an immediate risk to my safety and the safety of others on the road, I had the vehicle towed in for service right away. I took the vehicle to Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa (3810 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, FL 33614) on Monday, XXX (Repair Order #XXX).…

I was intending to make a left hand turn out of a dinner parking lot. As I approached the exit, I saw that a car was about to drive past me preventing me from making that turn, so I put my foot on the brake pedal to stop my car and let the vehicle safely pass in front of me. But the brake did not work. It did not stop my car. The pedal felt limp not firm I turned sharply to the left to avoid striking the other vehicle. Fortunately no other cars were coming in either direction. I put the car…

I purchased a 2025 Hyundai Tucson in March of 2026. Shortly after the purchase the screen began to malfunction. The screen glitches continuously while driving and there is no way to turn it off. This creates a significant distraction and raises serious concerns about driver safety. Especially driving at night. The screen turns completely dark then all of a sudden comes back in super bright. Because of the glitching there is no way to get to the setting to possibly turn the brightness down. It…

My vehicle is subject to the Hyundai Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) safety recall (NHTSA Campaign 26V316 / Hyundai Recall 302). The front camera software logic is overly sensitive, creating an imminent danger of unexpected, severe, and sudden automatic braking at high speeds. This manufacturing defect poses a catastrophic safety hazard to myself, my family, and other motorists on the highway. I consider the vehicle completely unroadworthy and unsafe to drive. Despite the severe risk…
