TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A GRACO CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT, MODEL: COMFORT SPORT. THE CHILD SEAT WAS SECURED IN A 2005 GMC PICKUP (N/A). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SEAT BELT BECAME LODGED INTO THE LOCKING MECHANISM AND THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO REMOVE THE CHILD FROM THE CHILD SEAT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

FIRST INCIDENT: TRAVELING DOWN A HIGHWAY IN BUSY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, WHILE SLOWING TO PULL INTO A STORE THE MAIN BRAKE LINE TO THE REAR BRAKE ABRUPTLY FAILED CAUSING NEARLY COMPLETE LOSS OF BRAKING. I BARELY AVOIDED CRASHING INTO THE SIGN AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE STORE. WHILE LOOKING AT THE LINE AFTER REMOVE, THE WHOLE AREA WAS COMPLETELY RUSTED AND MULTIPLE AREAS COULD HAVE FAILED. I OWN A 1996 G M C SUBURBAN K2500 W THE 6.5 DIESEL ENGINE . I HAVE CHANGED (3) THREE INJECTION PUMPS IN ITS LIFE TIME AND ACCORDING TO SEVERAL HIGHLY QUALIFIED MECHANICS IT'S TIME TO DO IT AGAIN.THE PROBLEM IS THAT WITHOUT ANY WARNING THE TRUCK WOULD ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN,YOU WOULD LITERALLY HAVE TO STAND UP ON THE BRAKE PEDAL IN ORDER TO STOP THIS POSSESSED KILLING MACHINE. 1998 GM PICKUP TRUCK WITH SEVERE CORROSION ON FRONT FRAME. CUSTOMER STATES THAT 7 OTHER VEHICLES ARE UNSAFE TO USE DUE TO THIS PROBLEM. *ACCORDING TO THE CONSUMERS OBSERVATION. THE DESIGN OF THE CROSSMEMBER PROVIDED NO EXIT POINT FOR ACCUMULATED WATER, WHICH ALLOWED THE BUILD-UP OF SEDIMENT AND THE SUBSEQUENT CORROSION FROM WITHIN THE FRAME STRUCTURE. *JB

1999 GMC SONOMA TAILGATE CABLES BROKEN ,HAVE CONTACTED GM DEALER AND THEY ARE NOT ON THE RECALL. THERE ARE ALOT OF GM RECALLS ON THIS ISSUE ,BUT OUR TRUCK IS NOT ONE OF THE RECALLS . IT STOPS AT 2000.

TL* - THE CONTACT OWNS A GMC K2500 TRUCK. WHILE DRIVING AT 25 MPH THE FUEL LINE BROKE AND THE BRAKES WOULDN'T ENGAGE. THE CONTACT PURCHASED AN AFTER MARKET FUEL LINE. THE MANUFACTURER OF THE REPLACEMENT PART WAS INLINETUBE.COM. ON THE ORIGINAL GM FUEL LINES WHERE THE O-RING WAS LOCATED, THE LINES WERE NOT ALTERED TO FIT. THE LINES THAT THE CONTACT RECEIVED FROM INLINETUBE.COM DID NOT HAVE ROOM FOR THE O-RING, WHEN THE FUEL LINE WAS INSTALLED THE O-RING WAS REMOVED. THE CONTACT…
