Rear brake issues. Upon taking off the brake pads on the driver's back the caliper piston would not turn in as it should. So I ordered a new one. Then I started on the passenger rear. When I tried to press and turn the piston back in it did the same thing as the other one. The piston came out of the passenger rear caliper. Upon further inspection I noticed the interior housing for the piston has a portion of it missing.

I purchased this vehicle, used, back in 2024 from STG Auto Group of Montclair. At the time I purchased the vehicle, they informed me there were no open recalls and ensured me the vehicle was safe to operate. About a year later, the driveshaft coupling (NHTSA 17V408000) completely sheared and I lost control for a bit on the freeway while trying to stop safely. Before I got the vehicle towed, I noticed the coupling was destroyed and it was all made of rubber. At the time I didn’t know about the…

My transit 2022 van has intermittent issues with the climate controls not working. Sometimes it will completely stop working for a day or more, and other times a few hours. This becomes a big issue in the winter when you need to keep the windshield clear of frost on the outside and inside. When looking online I found that I am not the only one having this issue.

This vehicle is subject to Recall 25V860 / Ford Recall 25SD9 involving the left rear half shaft. On several occasions, the vehicle has rolled after being placed in Park. I was forced to quickly reenter the vehicle and apply the brake to prevent a collision, property damage, or personal injury.
