8/3/26 at 0003 I received a message from the ford app that remote features were disabled to preserve battery. My truck would not turn on when I tried to start it, it was completely dead so then I got it jumped. At 1302 I received an error message for powertrain malfunction/ reduced power there was also a warning lamp for service on the dash. I brought the truck in today for service and waiting to hear back. I was driving at approx. 40 to 45 mph and in the process of braking for slowing traffic and the vehicle slammed on the brakes and left a short skid mark. I was about 50 feet behind the vehicle and braking when this occurred. I was lucky that the car behind did not rear end me. The collision alert did come on the dash at the same time it slammed on the brakes.

The truck was being towed behind a motor home, while making a normal left turn from a complete stop the truck began swing wildly from side to side (death wobble). After stopping I found a dash warning Steering Assist Fault, Service Required and Drive Mode Not Available. At that time the truck steering was very difficult to turn, the truck was not drivable. The contact's employer owns a 2025 Ford Maverick. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 MPH, the pre-collision warning light suddenly activated, and the vehicle abruptly stopped. Significant disruptive vibration upon acceleration at high speeds due to premature failure of front CV Axles. Confirmed failure of both axles by manufacturer at approximately 61,000 miles.

I had stopped at an intersection and when I applied the gas, the truck stuttered a bit before going. It ran okay for less than a mile. I stopped at the next intersection and when I applied the gas, the truck shuttered, started to go then just stopped. It stayed running but didn't want to go. I was able to get it through the intersection but that was it. The message i am getting is powertrain malfunction/reduced power. When we put our diagnosis tool on it, we get code P0757.

The driver's side (left front) door failed at the check-arm attachment point inside the door assembly: the spot welds securing the check-arm reinforcement bracket to the inner door structure cracked and separated.
