My engine is the same 1.0 that is in the recall for these cars getting a new short block. TheRecall Numbers: Ford recall 23S64 (NHTSA Campaign 23V905). . For some reason the 2015 is not covered in this whileine had the same catastrophic failure and I have been have a hard time (over 5 years) to get it repaired or find a replacement engine. The 2015 eco boost 1.0 should be included in this recall

Group 1 Ford of South Austin, TX refused to perform door latch recall unless we purchased additional parts and service out of pocket. The door will not latch and flies open even at slow speeds.

Purge valve sensor and canister is malfunctioning causing my car to stall out

I have a 2014 Focus. I wasn’t aware that there was an issue with the Focus make for the years 2011-2016. There’s a PO9OC and loss of reverse issue. It’s a transmission. The car isn’t safe to drive. My car is at 52,496. It sounds like this was a known issue by Ford and I was not made aware of a Power-shift history.

There were two times within a week where the car stopped in the middle of traffic. One was on Route 100 in a merge lane and the other was on the offramp of route 30 to 100 Exton. This happened in the middle left turn lane with traffic behind me causing me to need immediate police assistance to ensure my safety. While driving back window spontaneously imploded

The plastic gas tank was warped by heat and a faulty purge solenoid. The warped gas tank is a known issue for the 2018 Ford Focus and other versions of the car are covered by the recall, but my VIN apparently was not despite experiencing the same issue at less than 50,000 miles. The warped gas tank caused a dangerous car shutoff in traffic.
