Ford F-150

10r80 transmission shifts from 7th & 9th gear to 2nd gear causing truck to jerk and over rev. there were two mil lights local shop was able to read and reset once and cleared codes. This just recurred and truck was not able to be driven. Ended up replacing transmission same week as this problem started. New transmission has been fine since.

Transmission issues: Harsh, erratic shifting (jerking, lurching, and hesitating, especially when cold). Delayed engagement (2 to 3 seconds before engaging Drive or Reverse). Gear slippage accompanied by prominent clunking. Severe risk of total transmission failure if left unaddressed.

In November of 2025. I took my truck, 2017 f-150 3.5 Liter engine, to Crest Ford in Flat Rock Mi. There was a recall on the master cylinder (25S37). I was driving by and received multiple warnings about brakes. Brake assist, one pedal driving, reverse brake assist, general brake warning. After the came on the brake were spongy with a hard brake after applying more pressure to the pedal. I needed to apply more pressure because the car was not stopping.
