The vehicle has gotten stuck in 7th gear before, it also has almost completely stopped, wouldn't accelerate and shifted down and up. It is not drivable now with only 58500 miles on it. I am afraid to drive it by myself and I would never take my family anywhere in it as it poses a safety hazard / danger.

Just had another incident where driving along about 30mph and all of a sudden vehicle slams into first gear from 4th gear. Luckily neither I or my dog was injured. And also lucky that another vehicle wasn’t following closely as this safety issue could easily cause a rear end collision. I have reported this to Ford customer support and their corporate office. Typical 10r80 transmission problems you’ve guys seen a million times and have yet to force ford to issue a recall . I can’t even make it through an intersection without it stopping suddenly and putting me in danger . Please do something. This is gonna cost me a lot of money to fix .

I have had issues with my door locks one by one for the last year until now all of them have failed and no longer work. I have mentioned this issue multiple times at Bob Tomes Ford in McKinney Texas the last few times and got prices for the repair but it is a bit pricey. Recently I have just found out that Ford had campaign 20M04 to address these bad door lock actuator latches but the car has to be under 10 years old and under 150,000 miles. When accelerating from first to second gear, there is a power boost into second gear whether I want the power or not. Example: if I am turning I am not accelerating but my engine will continue to go up in rpm’s and make me go into second gear. Dangerous

the 10 speed transmission at low transmission temps shifts extremley hard to the point where it will down shift in a slow acceleration back to first gear and chirp the tires, in the rain this could cause me to lose traction in adverse weather conditions. Somtimes it will shift into to neutral and not accelerate at all for a few seconds before shifting back into first gear, making it dangerous if I im trying to cross a road and the truck essentially stalls for a few seconds blocking the road…

When starting the truck on XXX, the transmission was stuck in 7th gear and would not reverse. It was one day out of the 5 year warranty period. Had it towed to Kendall Ford in [XXX]. They found TSB 22-2428 and suspected an issue with the cdf cylinder. They determined that it was more cost effective to replace the transmission with a reconditioned one instead of repairing it. The vehicle experienced intermittent transmission-related drivability issues before the recall remedy was available.
