In October 2025, FCA issued Recall A0C for the shift cable on my daughter’s 2014 Dodge Dart. Beginning shortly after the recall was announced, we contacted multiple Dodge dealerships on several occasions to have the recall repair performed. 2013 DODGE DART

Filed Jul 29, 2026

The transmission shift cable fails to engage go into reverse or park when car is starting up. It fails to maintain connection and has resulted in near misses when backing up or attempting to get around another vehicle in a parking lot. This appears to be an issue associated with an ongoing safety recall that has NOT had a timely remedy as it has now been 10 months (as of October 2025) since the recall was first announced.
