Vehicle stalled losing power at highway speeds a total 7 times. Engine light finally came on stating that it is a P025A fuel pump modulator issue. This is a know issue with the year and model I have, yet my VIN was not covered under the recall. Car is a 2022 Chevy Equinox with 26.2k miles. Has been confirmed with dealer. Power loss at such speeds put my family in dangerous situations each time. Scottsdale dealers would not make it a priority so I had to get it back to Yuma. Dealer is making me…

Our 2023 Equinox needs the high pressure fuel pump replaced after we broke down on the side of the road. Thankfully, we were able to get to a safe location while we waited for a tow truck since our vehicle would no longer accelerate. There is currently a recall (N242450160) for Equinoxes made between 2023-2024 for the exact issue/part replacement ours needs. However, we were not notified of this recall because our VIN number is not currently included in the recall.

My granddaughter was driving the vehicle and experienced a catastrophic engine failure while driving down the road. Warning messages and audible sounds began and said to turn off the vehicle immediately. The brakes completely stopped working at that point. She pulled over immediately and called to ask what she should do. She was approximately 1/2 mile from home and she drove approximately 10mph to her driveway, pumping the brakes helped get the vehicle to her driveway. The vehicle was then…

1. High Pressure Fuel Pump, and yes. 2. Car will stall out unless I put it into neutral, shakes on shut down and sometimes starts scary fast. With the car caring my children in a busy town this is a HUGE safety hazard 3. No, but has been inspected by multiple mechanics. Got a tune up in May of 2026 problem subsided and back now. Numerous people have problems with this specific model of car and the HPFP. 4.PO0172 code, but that is the only code that has been persistent. No other known problems…

On July 18, 2026, I was driving to work around 0530 am when my rear driver's side tire blew out from the tread sidewall to the rim ruptured, having a catastrophic failure that almost resulted in a crash. The tire only had 18,500 miles without any prior damage or hitting something. Their is a current recall for these tires for the very thing that happened yet my tire batch was not listed as part of the recall. This event was costly and prevented me from working that day. Continental…

Component Failure & Availability: A GM remanufactured 2.4L engine block, installed as a replacement in July 2025, suffered a catastrophic internal failure (blown head gasket) within 11 months of installation.
