While driving the vehicle in a NYC highway at approximately 45 mph the transmission shifted into neutral causing the vehicle to decelerate gradually resulting in near rear end collision. The vehicle transmission will not engaged into gear while moving nor after stopping.

The dual clutch transmission on my 2020 C8 Corvette has a diagnostic code of p1955. This was determined after the service light on the vehicle illuminated and it was taken to service at the dealership. Other codes that stored included p0868 and p0869 which indicate low hydraulic pressure and high hydraulic pressure respectively. I am a long time Corvette owner and have purchased many through the years. I recently purchased a 2008 Corvette Coupe with only 30k miles, one owner vehicle. Unbelievable to me, I have had to spend over $4,000 the past month replacing the ECM and most notably the Fuel Pump, to relieve the constant Fuel Smell, not to mention the rack and pinion steering gear needs to be replaced, with again, only 30k miles on the vehicle, and that part is discontinued. Multiple Wheels (9) have been replaced and multiple tires. Have had to repair each of these wheels upwards of 20+ times and it’s not allowed legally after 3 cracks per wheel. Safety issue as tires would blow out or go flat in short time. Yes, been inspected multiple times by dealers, GM and told not covered under any warranty. One incident, GM agreed to replace the 2 rear wheels at 50% retail!

The heated seat option burned the seat right thru. It’s a fire hazard because the wiring for the heated seats burned right through the cloth seat. so you have a wire issue under a combustible material like the clothing material in a car seat.

Well known and documented failure of 2015-2019 Corvette ZO6 and Grand Sport wheels cracking prematurely due to poor manufacturing process. General Motors/Chevrolet has already publicly admitted liability to avoid court cases already filed. The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked at the residence, after exiting the vehicle, the contact became aware of an abnormal fuel odor inside the vehicle. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that a special coverage had expired. The failure mileage was 11,500.
