TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 CHEVROLET BERETTA WITH KUMHO SOLUS TIRES. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHOOK AS THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE BLEW OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE TIRE SHOP FOR DIAGNOSIS BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM . THE TIRE WAS REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 117,000. THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A SET OF CORNELL 1000 TIRES, LINE SIZE: P185/75R14, WHICH WERE BEING UTILIZED ON A 1999 CHEVROLET BERETTA. WHILE TRAVELING 55 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD BEGUN TO VIBRATE ABNORMALLY. AFTER EXAMINING THE VEHICLE THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE BELTS ON ALL FOUR TIRES WERE SEPARATED. DT*: THE CONTACT STATED DURING A ROUTINE MAINTENANCE CHECK IT WAS DISCOVERED ALL 4 TIRES ON THE VEHICLE WERE DRY ROTTING. THE INNER SIDEWALLS WERE CRACKED AND DRIED. THE DRY ROT WAS MORE SEVERE ON THE 2 FRONT TIRES. ALL FOUR TIRES WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT ALERTED. THE TIRE BRAND IS KELLY NAVIGATOR GOLD, THREE OF THE TIRES HAD THE SAME TIRE LINE PJT217KR3102 AND THE FOURTH TIRE IS PJT217KR3002.
