Sunroof flew off while driving. The adhesive bond between the glass and the metal frame debonded and the sunroof glass completely separated from the vehicle. Webasto Hollandia 700 series sunroof, Serial Number 0524386. A recall was already done for this defective product but Webasto will not fix this one because they claim this sunroof is a different series than what is covered by the recall, which is supposed to start with 06. The contact was able to exit the vehicle, and once the contact exited the vehicle, the vehicle burst into flames. The fire department was able to extinguish the fire.
