Buick Envision

The turbo failed by reducing speed all a sudden when I was driving on the freeway. Got the problem repaired and not even a month later same thing is happening again.

The envision started losing power, the engine would not gain speed or if it did it was very slow, had the booster vacuum sensor changed, Sudden loss of power or sluggish acceleration, In the beginning the noise/whining was not loud however increased from the engine. There are currently two items to report on this vehicle: 1) Failure of the gear shift. The replacement is not available for inspection. PCM found defective. The PCM was not seeing the transmission in park or neutral. The shifter assembly had to be replaced. The vehicle was not driveable and had to be towed for repair. I have a warning on my dash, Service Brake Assist that comes on and off, but will not stay on. The dealer says they can't identify the problem unless it stays on and then bring it in. Onstar module out. Car can not be detected of location. Can not use gps. In the event of accident onstar can not help me this is a safety problem for a woman especially. The contact owns a 2017 Buick Envision. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35-40 MPH, the brakes became inoperable. There were no warning lights illuminated. got a check engine light on, took to dealer was a code 1098, the part is on back order told that it would not be available until middle of may, this happened to me at the end of march, now am learning that GM issued a recall on that part for their diesel Duramax engine, I think it is a GM wide problem.

Same as in the other two complaints. At one year and approximately 5000 miles I personally did the first oil change. Car was approximately 3 quarts low on oil after draining the oil for the oil change. Filled up to manufacturers recommendation.
