The contact owns a 2008 Pontiac G8. The contact stated that while driving approximately 80 mph the cruise disconnected had erroneously deactivated and the brake lights had remained illuminated . When first started sometimes power steering does not work. Temporary fix is to restart the car. It's gone out while I was driving. This is very scary and hard to turn when it goes out.

My 2007 Pontiac G6 GT 3.9 l convertible has the same issue that a lot of the other g6s had with the Passenger Airbag Sensor (NHTSA 07V-146).

When driving the vehicle on the highway the vehicles steering wheel started shaking lightly and then all of a sudden the steering got hard and locked up the power steering and it also put a message on the stereo display saying “power steering”. I was able to pull aside of the highway and turn the car off and then back on. That seemed to reset it but the steering wheel kept shaking on its own.
