TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1991 PLYMOUTH LASER. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE HUBCAPS ON THE VEHICLE BEGAN SPINNING AND INEVITABLY CUT THE VALVE STEM OFF OF HIS TIRE. SPEED WAS NOT A FACTOR DURING THE FAILURE. THE TIRE PRESSURE WAS LOST AND THE RISK OF A SERIOUS CRASH WAS INCREASED. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1993 PLYMOUTH LASER. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH ALL FOUR OF THE VEHICLE'S WHEELS LOCKED, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SPIN OUT OF CONTROL. I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS A RECALL ON THE TRANSFER CASE ON MY 1992 PLYMOUTH LASER. I AM NOT THE FIRST OWNER OF THE VEHICLE AND I HAVE OWNED IT FOR SIX YEARS. I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THSI RECALL ABOUT A MONTH AGO. I HAVE REPLACED MY TRANSMISSION 2 TIMES ALREADY AND THE FIRST TIME IT BLEW UP THE SYMPTOMS SOUND VERY SIMILAR TO THE RECALL. INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING ON DRY PAVEMENT THE ABS BRAKES ENGAGED. WHEN THIS OCCURRED BRAKE PEDAL BECAME HARD AND PULSATED AS IF THE VEHICLE WAS ON AN ICY SURFACE. EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE OCCURRED WHICH RESULTED IN TWO CRASHES. ON TWO OCCASIONS THE VEHICLE JUMPED OVER A CEMENT PARKING BLOCK AND RAN INTO A BRICK BUILDING.
