On May 2, 2026, I took my 2024 Mazda CX‑90 to Mazda of Orange because the steering wheel was getting stuck and there was a loud chirping noise when turning the car on and off. Steering wheel gets stuck when holding turns like a left turn on stoplight, or freeway interchange. Have to forced the wheel back to straight.

When you turn, the steering wheel doesn't retract or turn back on it's own. You have to give it tug or jerk, which makes it dangerous.

Steering wheel still locks up after recall was done whenever turning wheel gets hard and almost doesn't Want to turn off of turning position to straight position

My driver door would not open from the inside. Doors are unlocked, but only the driver side door will not open from the inside. Driver side door can only open from the outside.

Few months after the steering recall we started experiencing issues with increased resistance while turning the steering wheel. Sometimes the steering is not very smooth. Was told the solutuon to this issue was a other repair that was not covered under the recall. Unfortunately we are past the 36k mile warranty.

The vehicle’s radiator has gone out with a hole in it next to where the hoses connect and the vehicle only has 45,000 miles on the odometer.
