I own a 2026 Mazda CX-90 hybrid with approximately 13,000 miles. The vehicle began making a grinding noise while driving, which has progressively worsened over time. It has since developed a hard knocking noise accompanied by noticeable vibration when the vehicle shifts gears. This knocking occurs during normal in-town driving. The steering wheel feels sticky when taking a curve or turn (sticky feeling). After the turn, the wheel might not return to the center automatically.

The steering feels sticky and resists turning while driving. It feels like it sticks before turning and makes a slight noise during steering. Please inspect the steering system and check for any recalls, service bulletins, or software updates.

Steering wheel is sticky. Brought in to Mazda for a recall. Remedy did not work. Want to charge me to fix again

while changing lanes or turning, the steering wheel sticks and needs extra force to turn; resulting in very jerky turn.

The official remedy for Recall 24V022 failed on my vehicle. The dangerous steering friction has returned, I feel unsafe driving. when turning to the left the steering wheel sticks. Causing me to have to violently yank the steering wheel in opposite direction.

Steering is sticking. Regardless which way I am turning, I have to put force in the steering to make it turn
