Mazda CX-50

I'm curious how many other Mazda owners are dealing with the same battery drain issue. I'm now on my third battery since 2024: Factory battery replaced under warranty in 2025. Second replacement purchased in March 2026. Within a month, the Battery Low - Drive Vehicle to Recharge warning was back. The dealer kept my vehicle for four days to monitor it, but they couldn't find anything abnormal. This started long before I had a dashcam professionally installed, so that's not the cause. Was braking with traffic and all of a sudden the emergency braking kicked on and brought the car to a stop from about 40 miles per hour with no immediate threat of collision. Brakes were being applied manually and had plenty of room infront of the vehicle and traffic was not stopped. Nearly caused the vehicle behind to collide into me. Very uncomfortable whiplash feeling experienced and my unsecured belongings in my car went flying.

Driver of the vehicle was parking the vehicle in a parking lot, foot nowhere near the accelerator when the car suddenly surged forward striking a parking pole.. The driver side front quarter panel took on heavy damage along with the sensors.. Car had to be towed... It accelerated by itself...

I was backing out of a parking spot in a parking lot that backed up to a 2 lane highway. I placed the car in Reverse and then put the car in Drive, so that I could exit the parking lot to a side road. Brake booster failure in less than two years of ownership. It seems to be an issue with A LOT of these models. Very unsafe to have any brake failure

My rear differential is going out at only 40,000 miles. Ive heard from many other people that this is a widespread issue, and i feel requires a response from the company.

Rear differential failure, and side seat tear on 2023 Mazda cx 50

I previously reported the auto breaking system would slam on breaks prematurely. Now it was a factor in an accident where the Mazda CX-50 was rear-ended by a Ram 2500 truck at full speed on the highway. Car is incompaitated and I have suffered injuries.
