Excessive oil consumption. Regularly have a low oil warning come up about 6000 kms after an oil change. Oil is always low when checked.

The wiper settings cannot be adjusted every speed is high- (meaning, the wipers always go super fast) unless, its on auto. I dont alwaus want to use auto. My dealership tech now has refused to work with me anymore- or has encouraged me to find another dealership bc of all the random little things ive brought up aboht the car. Seems to frustrate him. Just 2 days ago- the car started leaking water thru the top of the liftgate when going through the car wash. (I do opt for touchless- btw)

The vehicle experienced a premature internal A/C failure, resulting in a total loss of climate control refrigerant. Because the A/C system failed, the vehicle's windshield defroster completely stopped removing humidity and moisture from the cabin air. This caused the front windshield to instantly and severely fog over while operating the vehicle completely obstructing forward driver visibility. The manufacturer has issued Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) MC-10203760-0001 for factory…

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The automatic braking turned on while I was accelerating. My car is available for inspection. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? I could have been rear ended because my car automatically braked at an unpredictable time in rush hour traffic with someone very close behind me. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? It has happened…

Crash

On June 3rd, 2026, about 1:15 PM, I braked in the rain because there was a stopped car in front of me. The brakes did not work; the Automatic Emergency brakes did not work; the Forward Collision Warning did not work and I hit the car in front of me causing a 3 car accident. As I hit the car I saw the Forward Collision Warning come on and then go out. Unfortunately, the brakes worked after that and the Mazda Collision Center cannot find anything wrong with the brakes. I note that the 2022 and…

2025 Mazda CX-30 experienced a sudden complete loss of power while driving at highway speed with no prior warning lights or indications of malfunction. Immediately before shutdown, steering became extremely stiff due to loss of power steering assist. Vehicle was steered towards the shoulder during highway speed of 65mph and was electrically inoperable while rolling, this includes the loss of hazards, power steering and electronic brake lock engagement.

Following a recent inspection at Perry Mazda in Santa Barbara, my vehicle was diagnosed with a failed clock spring mechanism causing airbag malfunction warnings. Clock spring failure under 70K miles on a 2021 vehicle is premature and suggests a defect rather than normal wear. I contacted Mazda North America and it has been over a week without a response. I have maintained the vehicle responsible and have no history of collisions or modifications that could have contributed to this failure.

[XXX] fuel door assembly has come loose from body. It looks like the clips that hold it in place have become worn or loose by the weight of the gas nozzle or by the fact that the gas door will not close correctly and car wash machine has made it looser and it appears to not shut all the way, and the body colored panel has fallen off as a result and when you pump gas, the assembly moves may be possibly causing it to leak gasoline if the seal or gasket becomes dislodged because of the loose…

2023 MAZDA CX-30

Filed May 14, 2026

The contact owns a 2023 Mazda. The contact stated that the vehicle was braking randomly while driving. There was an unknown malfunction code that flashed quickly. The steering was stiff and failed to turn. The steering wheel adjusted and guided the vehicle into the wrong lane. The RPM was sporadically reeving. The RPM increased, and the vehicle stalled without acceleration. There was smoke emerging from the hood. There was oil leaking. The vehicle failed to turn off and on. The fuel gauge and…

While driving, on approach to a stop signal, at an intersection the car stopped moving. The display said engine malfunction, have inspected. The electronics and engine continued to operate, but the car would not move when gas pedal was depressed. I shut off and restarted my vehicle numerous times, with no effect on the problem, the car still would not move. The vehicle behind me had to brake unexpectedly, and I could have been hit by others in the intersection, there could have been an…
