Mazda B2500

This is a complaint about Mazda. I have brought my vehicle in 3 times, after they confirmed an appointment and stated they had the part. All three times it appears whoever makes the appointment doesn’t communicate with the dealer Service Center. I have the FOURTH appointment this Wednesday at Royal Motors, San Francisco. 1. Received notification in February 2024 of open Takata inflator passenger airbag recall for inspection/replacement. 2. Contacted twice by online scheduler and twice by VM messages to service dept. of only listed Mazda service dealer on the Eastside of Hawaii Island in February 2024. Dealer refused to even respond. 3. Chassis is rusting out. Drivers side rear spring shackle, bracket fell off and need to be replaced costing me about $500.00. Mazda b2300 is also a Ford Ranger which also has similar issues. My truck has about 170,000 miles on the odometer. The drive train is strong; idles and runs smooth, does not burn oil.

My truck sat for a while I charged the Batt. I drove to the landfill in Tehachapi Ca. It ran fine. I unloaded the trash the engine idled for 30+min. The landfill had debris on the ground. The truck ran fine back to town. I had 3/4 fuel. I decided to fill up at the Loves gas station I filled it all the way 2 clicks I think. unknown. have been trying to get airbag recall scheduled with Jim Doran Mazda in Mcminnville, OR for months. 1st appointment no record of parts being ordered. now nobody can confirm parts being ordered for upcoming appointment.
