Lexus GX460

There is a significant squeal when braking at low speed in both forward and reverse. I am unsure whether this is a safety issue or not, but there is evidence online that other owners are experiencing the same issue.

This issue began after I brought unrepaired recall concerns to the dealership’s General Manager and was told I would need to sign an NDA and failed to provide the recall part numbers as agreed. The back up camera would go black when reversing, creating a dangerous situation. It’s a known issue with the GX 460 model that when the radio gets corrupted and the infotainment screen goes black it will cause the back up camera to not function properly! In 2018 shottenkirk desert lexus marked two recalls as completed but also simultaneously typed in a note saying customer declined worked and is out of town The original part number and quantity fields are left blank. Sunroof tempered glass spontaneous explosion. The GX 550 has many people online complaining about the windshields cracking from the bottom for no reason. The crack is getting worse and close to line of sight. This is happening without something striking it.

My engine failed as I was driving down the highway at high speed. I was thankfully able to move over lanes and park safely on side of the rode before it came to a complete stop. The issue started with the engine stalling while I’m driving, and one day the car failed to start. I towed it to the dealership who said there is nothing wrong with the fuel pump and advised me to replace the battery.
